And So It Begins

Woof.

I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is Cosmo and I'm a purebred pug. If you have any excess food I'd be absolutely interested in taking it off your hands.

Right now, I live just outside Seattle with my owner, Cassie. She works in the city and commutes back and forth 5 days a week; I'm in charge of taking care of the house while she's away. It's a pretty big job, there are all kinds of raccoons and squirrels outside- and sometimes tree debris blow by the windows- but I scare them off with my manly, deafening bark. You might say I'm the best guard dog west of the Mississippi- and I don't like to toot my own horn, but I'd be inclined to agree with you.

Even with all my responsibilities at home and my 22 hours of sleep per day, I find that I often have free time on my paws. Word on the street is lots of people have blogs these days, and I thought it was time to make the pug-life a little more public. I mean, inquiring minds what to know, right? Don't be fooled, we pugs are more than wrinkles and curly tails, we're the most superior of all dog breeds! I'm all pug, but so much more: philosopher, forager, garbage disposal, therapist, sleep expert, snore producer, comedian- I could go on, but I'll let you ponder these diverse traits for now. Check back with me soon and revel in the always exciting, the often hilarious, the perpetually insightful:

PUG CHRONICLES.
